Incorporated in 1950, yet Greenwood Village still retains its open feel with more than 300 acres of parks and 100 acres of undeveloped open space. The trail system provides 40 miles of scenic walking and biking areas. Greenwood Village also houses DTC - the Denver Technological Center, a development of large buildings outside of Denver where many technology-oriented companies are based.

Easy access to RTD’s Light Rail system’s E, F, and R lines, grants Greenwood Village residents reliable transportation to Denver, the metro area, and DIA.

Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre is the largest outdoor theatre in the metropolitan Denver area, where world-famous artists perform throughout the summer season.
Concerts and exhibits are hosted at The Curtis Center for the Arts, housed in a restored 1914 schoolhouse.

The Denver metro area's High Line Canal and Cherry Creek Trail systems both run through Greenwood Village and connect spectacular green spaces.
